Who we are. Overlyx operates Overlyx Job Alerts, an email job-alert service for doctors in the UK and Ireland, and is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are based in Ireland (EU). Contact: support@overlyx.com.

What we collect. Only your email address and the specialty and region preferences you submit. No health data, no payment data, and no tracking cookies.

Why & legal basis. We process this data on the basis of your consent to: (a) send you job alerts matching your preferences; and (b) — only if you tick the optional box — send you occasional product updates from Overlyx. You can withdraw either consent at any time, and the two are independent.

Double opt-in. You confirm by clicking a link we email you; no alerts are sent until you do.

How long we keep it. Unconfirmed signups are deleted automatically after 21 days. Confirmed subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe, at which point your data is erased.

Who processes it. We do not sell your data. We use trusted providers purely to run the service — Resend (email delivery) and Railway (hosting) — as our processors under contract. Some processing may occur outside the EU/EEA (e.g. the US) under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Job listings. Alerts link out to the original postings on third-party sites; we don't republish their content. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your rights. You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to withdraw consent. The quickest way to erase your data is the one-click unsubscribe link in any email; for anything else, email support@overlyx.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
